Others call them “snoring strips” or “breathing strips

Some people call better breath nasal strips“nose strips.” Others call them “snoring strips” or “breathing strips.” The official term is better breath nasal strips. These handy additions to your nightly routine go a long way toward helping you sleep better by helping you breathe better.

They seem simple, but better breath nasal strips have unique engineering that make them an effective tool for managing nighttime congestion and improving sleep.

Better breath nasal strips are made of flexible, spring-like bands that fit right above the flare of the nostrils. The underside is adhesive so that once positioned on the nose, they stay there. As the bands attempt to straighten back to their original shape, they lift the sides of the nose and open the nasal passages. This lifting action helps open inflamed sinus passages and makes it easier to breath. Nose strips provide relief for congestion due to colds, allergies, or a deviated septum and reduce snoring caused by nighttime nasal congestion.

Better breathe nasal strips are nonprescription and drug-free devices that work mechanically to open nasal passages. In doing so, the airflow resistance through the nasal passages is reduced, thereby improving the ability to breathe through the nose. The strip is a “spring-like,” flexible band that resembles a thin Band-Aid. A special adhesive is on the underside that sticks to the skin directly above the flare of both nostrils.
